Our Differences Unite Us

How many languages are spoken in India? Where do Italian families spend their Sunday evening? What is the longest word in the German language? (Answers at the bottom of this post.) These were just a few of the questions that were answered during Diversity Week late September in our headquarters in Dublin and Dallas, and our various global outposts. Five 30-minute presentations by employees about their home country where enhanced by Brazilian, Italian and Indian lunches.

Origina’s people strategy is designed to help us attract the world’s greatest talent and deliver breakthrough performance and premium service for our customers, our business and our team members. As we grow globally, we aspire to have the most talented employees with diverse backgrounds, cultures, perspectives, and experiences to support our innovation and ambition.

We agree with Tim Berners-Lee (Inventor of the World Wide Web) when he says: “We need diversity of thought in the world to face the new challenges.” With empowerment being at the core of Origina’s brand and mission, we strive to connect across any differences by being mutually adaptive rather than believing that everyone be, think, and act the same.

Ultimately, we desire to create an environment where people of any background can contribute at their highest level for the benefit of our customer. Because work should be liberating by allowing people to fully realize their potential. And fun, especially when it comes to learning more about other cultures. #UnitedForInclusion #DiverstyWeek
