Event Manager

Location

Duties and Responsibilities

*Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts
*Pre-planning and event execution, including but not limited to: delegate nominations, communications, creative & copywriting management, speaker briefings, platform management & budget management
*You will be responsible for online event planning including conferences and webinars start to finish
*Ongoing operational support of existing event processes related to client management, event planning, and strategy
*Handle logistics of events and deliver high-velocity events programs, managing multiple stakeholders
*Maintenance and documentation of timelines to ensure high volume of deliverables and dependencies stay on schedule
*Managing budgeting and invoicing
*Negotiating sponsorship deals
*Managing branding and communication
*Serve as a brand ambassador throughout the events and handle post-event reports, event feedback surveys, and internal communication

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

*Strong capabilities in the area of event management, project management, and executive administration, ideally with 4-5 years of experience managing events
*Relevant qualification such as a degree in PR, Marketing or Communications
*Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, teamwork, and customer interaction skills
*Advanced project management experience
*Software industry experience & global event management experience would be an advantage
*Good leadership skills, and Strong analytical/problem solving skills
*Highly organised and ability to multitask and stay abreast of multiple projects at one time
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly react to new/urgent requests
*High energy, detail-oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups
