Another year, another unforgettable Origina week. Each year we take the time to gather together to discuss the future of software support, while also decompressing after a busy year of bringing about change. For the third year in a row, we were delighted to host the event in the stunning surroundings of Kilashee House in Naas, Co. Kildare.
Masterfully MC’d by our own VP of People and Culture, Ross Lowe, our theme was focused on connections with purpose and influencing with power. The week got off to a strong start with sessions focused on getting the most of Origina week and upcoming innovations in Origina hosted by our leadership team of CEO and Founder, Tomás O’Leary, CIO and Co-Founder, Rowan O’Donoghue, and CRO, Shannon Mahaffey.
We were challenged and inspired by world-renowned mentalist Keith Barry, who delivered a mind-bending session on the science of influence and persuasion. Throughout the week, breakout sessions drilled into every corner of the business—from GIE workshops to deep dives into finance, customer experience, negotiation, and our unmatched approach to software security. The agenda was designed to maximize impact, with each session focused on sharpening skills, strengthening collaboration, and shaping the future of Origina.
From there, the week only grew stronger, with standout sessions across every dimension of influence and connection. Kingsley Aikens, CEO of The Networking Institute, led a masterclass on networking with purpose, while psychologist and author Owen Fitzpatrick delivered an engaging talk on rhetoric and emotional persuasion. Our new Chief Brand Officer, Antonia Ellis, joined VP of Marketing, Nancy Maluso, for a candid conversation about Origina’s evolving brand journey. We even had the privilege of a personal session with Leona O’Leary, wife of our CEO and founder. And of course, no Origina Week would be complete without the social events brought to life by our incredible events team, all culminating in our annual Origina Week awards.
That wraps up another unforgettable Origina week in Kilashee House. It was a week full of learnings, lively debates and laughs, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year.
