An interview with our hiring manager
What was your first job?
I started off in the healthcare industry working various jobs, such as Physical Therapy Tech and Ambulatory Service Specialist for Transplant, while working on my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Then I found my passion for service management, shifted gears to IT with Origina, and completed my MBA in Leadership and Management.
What’s a fun fact about you that you’d like to share?
I was born in Singapore and lived the first 10 years of my life there.
What are your hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?
I love to travel and go on hikes. Every year, my wife and I make it a goal to explore different countries. Occasionally, I play video games as well.
How is Origina different from any other company you worked for in the past?

What does a day look like as a Service Desk Specialist at Origina
Dynamic. Engaging. Collaborative.
Each day is a new mixture of communicative collaboration with our Customer Success Managers, Client Technical Architects, Product Experts, and Customers. We all work collectively to provide our customers with the utmost care and the best third-party software maintenance.
What interview tips would you have for someone applying for a Service Desk Specialist role with Origina?
Showcase your ability to communicate information clearly and highlight how you’ve effectively collaborated with team members to provide optimal support. Additionally, demonstrate your adaptability in adverse situations. Most importantly, be yourself. This is an entry-level position; we don’t expect everyone to be a master.
