An interview with our hiring manager

What was your first job?

My first job was at my neighbor’s Bed and Breakfast and self-catering accommodation at 15. I worked weekends and holidays, and my responsibilities included cooking and managing bookings and payments.

What’s a fun fact that you’d like to share?

I love animals. I have a horse, three cats, and two dogs. I live on a farm where we stock beef cattle for finishing and sheep. I manage the daily operations of our hauling, contracting, and farming business. I also love sea swimming and was a lifeguard.

What are your hobbies? What do you do in your spare time?

When I am home in Donegal, I like to hike and walk on the beach. I often climb the mountain Slieve League, which is practically on my doorstep, and hike Muckross Head and St. John’s Point. I also farm on the weekends.
