Mistakes or accidents aren’t usually what organizations like to admit to or shout from the roof tops – but in a gracious and  refreshing manner, Zurich has admitted that although they lost 000’s of individuals personal information, they are now stepping up to the plate and improving their data protection standards from this point on.

In this frank and honest press release from Zurich on the 24th of March – although it’s not ideal – we feel it can only instill confidence for the future. From this harsh lesson, going forward,  Zurich will no doubt ensure they have the most efficient secure backup systems – and a mistake they will be determined never to be repeated!
