  • DAS, SAN and NAS environments are eligible
  • Maximum legacy system size is 100TB of allocated storage

How Compellent Efficiency Advantage Works

With a combination of industry-leading features, the Compellent SAN transforms legacy storage volumes into thin provisioned, auto-tiered and ultra-efficient data volumes.
Thin Provisioning: Enables end users to allocate any size virtual volume upfront yet only consume actual physical capacity when data is written by the application.
Thin Import: As existing data is copied to a Compellent SAN, Storage Center converts the data into thin-provisioned volumes.

Free Space Recovery: Increase utilization in Windows environments by reclaiming space that is no longer in use.
