What is the Integrative Disaster Recovery Assessment?
Origina's Integrative Disaster Recovery assessment investigates and validates your current Disaster Recovery plans, processes and procedures; not only from an IT systems perspective, but also from a personnel perspective to ensure staff can perform Disaster Recovery tasks during a real Disaster Recovery scenario when they are under increased stress and pressure.
The Integrative Disaster Recovery (IDR) assessment is a Workshop and Interview-led process using standardised tools and methods (ITIL based) whereby all aspects of your disaster readiness are examined in the context of your business requirements.
The IDR assessment report is the initial deliverable of our IDR service. The output is a comprehensive report which will address all recommendations and enhancements to your existing Disaster Recovery plan or deliver the foundation to develop a new plan. The report will include (amongst others) the following elements:
- Are RTO and RPO objectives clearly defined for all applications?
- How is the incident communication organised?
- When/How a disaster is declared, and who should make the decision to invoke DR?
- What steps are required to develop the DR team?
