IT Infrastructure Benchmarking
What is IT Infrastructure Benchmarking?
IT Infrastructure Benchmarking is Origina's premium technology consulting offering for clients looking to build unprecedented levels of efficiency, agility, compliance and risk aversion into their IT infrastructure. We assess and benchmark the entire IT infrastructure up to the application layer. The service is an agnostic consultancy led engagement carried out by our most senior IT consultants with extensive experience across all areas of IT.
The benchmarking is broken into two distinct phases which are detailed below:
-
Phase 1 – An initial assessment that "paints a picture" of the overall IT infrastructure across five main pillars of focus. Each area is then graded using the pre-agreed criteria, identifying those areas within the IT infrastructure that are weak, or require additional consideration.
-
Phase 2 – A more in-depth root cause analysis of the subgroups within each of the five main pillars to uncover the source of any specific problems. Both phases are carried out using a mixture of stakeholder interviews, information gathering and technical analysis.
